WOW, I can't believe that my baby is a year old. It is a little sad thinking that my little girl is growing up. I am so glad that I am her mom she has taught me so much over the past year, mostly PATIENTS. Which I still need lots more of. As I look back over the past year I am so glad she has been very healthy other than a few ear infection.

IT'S MOVING TIME!!!

We finally got an offer on our house and YES we took it. After a few counteroffers, we decided to seal the deal. I have started doing a little packing if all goes as planned we will close on the 12 of Feburary. We are excited to start a new journey, but I must say I will miss a few things about our home. I am going to miss Kadee's room it is probably one of my favorite places in our home. We love to read stories in the rocking chair and she is finally getting old enough to look at walls with the alphabet. I know that these things are all replacable it is just the little memories I will miss making here with her. The big thing I am going to miss the most is not being able to jump in the car and being at my sisters in ten mins. It has been so much fun watching the kids play together. All the phone calls from Tali telling me she wants to come to my house! I am almost positive that she will still call but it wont be as easy coming to my house. Tali aunty loves you and I will miss you coming to my house to play (even if you eat everything in my fridge or at least taste it). Thanks Stac for everything it wont be long and I will be done with school so get ready to sell and we can move to the same cute neighborhood.... I am excited for Kadee to get to know her grandma better hopefully she wont kick us out to soon.

Christmas Fun!

This year John and I both had to work on Christmas so Santa came early and Kadee really could have cared less. She was not in to the presents or wrapping paper at all. She just wanted to play with moms pots and pans in the kitchen. Kadee had fun playing with her grandma and cousins while mom and dad were at work. Kadee loves going over to my sisters and playing with Tali and Kenya. I hope that everyone had a great Holiday and is ready for the New Year.

We had fun going to grandmas' and making toffee Kadee enjoyed eating the left over chocolate!

Christmas is my favorite time of year I love all the family gatherings, snow and lots of fun. This year are family Christmas party was at my sisters house in Salt Lake it was fun. The grandkids love playing with each other and fighting over toys. Here are some pictures of the party.

HIS PLAN!

As we all know Heavenly Father has a plan for each one of us and it may not be what we have in mind. He gives us struggles to make us stronger and to turn to him for peace. Yesterday morning a sweet little girl returned to our Heavenly Father after a very short time here on earth. She was lifted from the pain and suffering that she endured during her time with brain cancer. We never know when our time here may end, but we need to enjoy life to its fullest. Never miss a moment to kiss your children goodnight, and tell them you love them.
Carrie my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May you find peace at this difficult time knowing of the plan, and that you may see her again. We love you!

O Christmas Tree!

Every Christmas my family hikes the hills in Fillmore looking for that perfect Christmas tree. This year was fun Kadee had a blast being in the mountains and helping mom and dad find a tree. Here are some pictures of our adventure. All the mountains were missing is some SNOW!
