A little update!

Ok I know it has been a while but it is crazy how busy life gets we are all alive and doing well. Kadee just turned "3" I will try and put some pictures up we just did a little party she got a new big girl bike with the perfect spot for taking her baby for rides. I hope that everyone had a great holiday seasons I know it is way past, and if you kids are anything like ours we can't wait for warmer weather the kids are tired of being inside...

The finished product! Kadee and her daddy made a snow man with all the fun snow we have had this winter.

We are lucky to have family so close Johns' mom and his sister that lives in Cali came and stayed with the girls for Christmas Eve. Christmas morning when we got off work we let the kids open presents, and the red bags to see what Santa had left for them. Sydnee was really into opening presents this year.

Christmas Eve came a little early at our house since we both worked this year.. They opened PJ's. Sydnee saying "CHEESE" she has the cutest dimple...

I loved our new tree this year!! I am pretty sure John loved not hiking in the hills to find one either!

We have so much fun tubing we bought a new tube this year, which the girls love sometime I think that the cold does not even faze them. As Kadee just yells faster and faster and never wants to come inside. We had fun tubing at the Ski Eagle Point Resort the end of January, Kadee hated it! I will admit it was fast really fast and is the longest tubing hill in Utah.

John and I took the girls down to Temple square this year Kadee loved seeing all the lights and it really wasn't to cold either. The girls love looking at lights, almost every night before I would go to work we would take a short drive around the neighborhood to look at lights Kadee loved the house that had music.

This year we won our neighborhood Christmas lighting contest! This was our prize! I really would have love a month of no HOA fee that would have been awesome but this works. We keep it tell next year then pass it on the the winners.

This year we where the lucky hosts of my family Christmas party it is always so fun to get with family especially now that we all have little kids they love playing with each other. We played games, ate good food, had a special visitor , and most fun at least for Kadee was going to see the REINDEER this little farm is close by our house and we made many trips their this season with our kids. They love it!!

San Diego Fun!

The first of October we took the girls to San Diego for a much needed vacation. It was pretty entertaining from the flight their to the flight home. I think we all had a great time the girls favorite thing was the beach and of course it is the one thing we have no picture of.. So here are a bunch a pictures of our little adventure. The next one will be someone that has a vacation with baby sitter. I am now ready for a vacation without the kids.

I know it has been a while, but trust me we have been busy that is what summers are for right. Well here goes to a little catch up then. Yes, we are all moved in and loving our new home, we still have plenty to do around the house but at least we are in. We spend lots of time at the pool and park that is Kadees' favorite place to go. The middle of July we went camping with my family down by Kents Lake in Beaver and had a great time. It was so nice to get a way and not take any books or flash cards with me. We have been to Seven Peaks which Kadee never wants to leave she loves the water... So here are some pictures of our latest adventures, I will put some of the house for all you peeps at work that want to see the final product but these will be the last of house pictures so enjoy them... Hope everyone is having a great summer it will soon be over with.

Happy Anniversary BABE! I can't believe that we have been married for 5 years today, it seems like yesterday I was walking down the isle although the weather was a lot nicer back in 2005! The past five years have been filled with lots of fun memories, a dog and two little girls later here we are just about about the close on a house that we could only dream of... I love you babe and cannot wait for the next five to come...

So I it time to update the housing pictures it is really coming along and we are getting really excited. I have taken all of my finals and now just the two BIG tests remain the HESI EXIT and then NCLEX. Let's hope all is well, and yes I have a job as A RN I will be staying at Primary's just going across the hall to the RTU.

This week the two girls both had their well child check ups and thank goodness they are both healthy, and strong. I can't believe how big they are getting. Kadee was super brave at the office she didn't cry at all she did awesome.. Sydnee on the other hand ended up with three shots and was not such a happy camper, but at least we made it in and out with no big surprises. This week at work I took care of a little two year old who's well child check did not go so well her parents were told she needed to have blood work done immediately and was to come to Primary's. Following the blood work we did she was admitted with the new diagnosis of Leukemia. I am just happy that I have two beautiful girls who are healthy, strong, and beautiful.

The time has arrived and we are super excited our future address will be 14737 Quiet Glenn Dr. in Herriman. We are hoping to be moved in by July, so make your plans now party at our place the the 24th. Of course we still have lots to do before then but we are excited. Our little community has a playground, swimming pool, tennis courts and a fun picnic area just two streets down. Here is a picture of our lot and soon to be home site.

Looking back it does not seem like it has been two years. This face has not changed much especially when she is throwing a fit which happens quite a bit.

She is so much fun, and such a BIG help. Hailey and her have so much fun together when I have school my mom brings Hailey to play. Thanks goodness for awesome family.

He loves fires and has not had a good one in his area for some time. It is amazing to me to listen to him on the phone talk about his calls let alone a good fire. Sydnee is such a good baby, most of the time. I am going to miss being home so much with the two girls seems how my maternity leave is over and I will be going back to work on Sunday. Oh, well its really only one day a week, but still it has been fun hanging out with these two crazy girls.
KODA and KADEE are best buds they are just chillin. Kadee is hoping that he will take her for a ride. The other day she had doing his hair. She had the hair spray, a comb, and her bows. He was just laying there taking the abuse, and for Kadee she was having a blast.
Here is my big girl she is growing up so fast..

I never thought that having two girls could be so much work, and fun at the same time. Kadee has been quite the stinker lately I can't wait tell she is two, to see what kind of trouble she will get in. Last night I found Koda and her on my bed with the can of baby formula. The two of them had dumped the hole can all over the bed. It was a disaster, Koda was licking as fast as he could while Kadee was throwing the powder all over the dog. Just picture a black lab, now a yellow lab and frothy formula all over his mouth.. I would have taken a picture, BUT I was so mad I could have killed both of them. I was a giant pain the clean up. These two you can never leave alone...

We put up our Christmas Tree a few weeks ago I know it was early but I love Christmas. Kadee had fun putting the decorations on the tree.

Today Sydnee turned 1 month old wow where the time has gone. She made her two week check up and is doing great she was 7lbs. 11oz about the same size as she was when she was born. We have finally figured out the formula issue which of course she likes the most expensive stuff on the market-NUTRAMIGEN- hopefully she will be able to change to something else once she gets a little older. Lots of people have asked how Kadee is dealing with the new little one, and she is doing really well the last week she has been a little sinker I think that she is finding out that she is not leaving and is here to stay. But all in all it is not to bad I am just glad that we are done yes there will be no more babies coming out of me..

After Sydnee was born we headed to my parents for the week to hang out. It is always fun to go to Fillmore Kadee has a blast playing with all her cousins, and eating corn on the cob like a big girl.

Kadee have fun riding the four wheeler with her dad, this was a huge step for her because she had been hated the four wheeler and screams when ever she hears it. Kadee and fun giving her little sister a ride in the dolly stroller.

Kadee is proud to announce that she is a big sister to Sydnee Beth Harris who arrived on 9/11/09 at 5:38 pm.. Kadee has not yet seen her little sister, but she will be stopping by tomorrow and hopefully she will enjoy her sister. I must say that the second labor is really not that much easier, especially when they are positioned the wrong way.. Sydnee struggle for the first few minutes she cord was tight around her neck and she had meconium. For those who understand the medical end of it her apgar were 5 and 7. I am doing well and can't wait to go home and be with the family...
Yes I made it through finals taking my last one on thursday, what a relief. My last semester starts the first week of October so I will get a little bit of a break... Here are some pictures of her enjoy....

It has been a little while since I have done much with our family blog, live is busy one day I will hopefully not be reading med surg books and trying to study for midterms. It is getting close to being done I have a semester and a half left.
For the fourth John had to work so Kadee and I traveled to the big town of Fillmore to hang out with the family. It is always fun to go to grandma's house. Kadee rode her buggy with her cousins in the kids parade she was not a big fan, but it was really hot!

After the parade the kids needed to cool off Kadee and Hailey love to swim they are little fishes. Later that night we went to the fireworks and Fillmore did a pretty good job for being such a small place Kadee loved them maybe one of these years our daddy will be able to spend the Fourth with us, he has worked every Fourth of July since we have been married.

We took Kadee to Seven Peaks last week with the Harris family the kids had a blast playing in the water and going down the slides. Kadee loves the water she is such a big girl she just finished her two week swimming lessons that was a little bit of a joke but she could care less as long as she was in the water and splashing... Yes everything is still on track for a September baby, I am starting to get things ready I am hoping that I can make it through finals first and then have a baby but we will see how things go. Kadee is excited for a little sister or at least she wants to play with all of the her things so we will just be waiting for little miss Sydnee to make her appearance.

They turned out super cute they are totally Kadee and her little personality. The girl kept saying she just does what she wants, and that is her to a T.... Kadee has the greatest dad ever they have so much fun together, and I could not ask for a better husband in the world. He has been so helpful while I am gone a ton with school and clinicals soon I will be done and then what will we do..

Four years ago today John and I decided to tie the knot and since then it has been history... I must say it has been a great four years with lots of memories made.. I must say that I am one of the luckiest girls there is I have been so lucky to have such a great husband, he truly is my best friend.. I just hope that there are many more years to come...

Vacation to VEGAS!!

Yes we are back from our weeks stay in Vegas.... It was great to get away and everyone had fun. We took Kadee to a petting zoo animals were just wandering around, her highlight was riding to pony.... I guess I should start saving so she can maybe have a horse someday she loves them. Of course we did plenty of swimming and relaxing.. My favorite thing were my pumpkin pedicure that was amazing, and playing black jack I am a new fan, we may be headed back sooner so I can continue my winning streak!!! But as for now I start school again on Monday with 30 weeks left and 15 weeks tell we have another little girl to chase around. Here are some pictures of our trip...

Yes, I know it has been a while since I have put anything on here, but don't worry we are all still alive and doing well. I just took my last final today at least for this semester, and I passed every class I was a little nervous about mental health but I did it. So for my week break the family is headed to Las Vegas.... We are excited my parents and all of my siblings are going we will probably do lots of swimming and shopping, right now I could really just hang out in the condo and be just fine... I will post some pictures when we get home next week....

She had so much fun I must say that the monkeys were her favorite she was yelling, and kept pointing at them. It amazes me how big she it getting.

WOW, I can't believe that my baby is a year old. It is a little sad thinking that my little girl is growing up. I am so glad that I am her mom she has taught me so much over the past year, mostly PATIENTS. Which I still need lots more of. As I look back over the past year I am so glad she has been very healthy other than a few ear infection.

We finally got an offer on our house and YES we took it. After a few counteroffers, we decided to seal the deal. I have started doing a little packing if all goes as planned we will close on the 12 of Feburary. We are excited to start a new journey, but I must say I will miss a few things about our home. I am going to miss Kadee's room it is probably one of my favorite places in our home. We love to read stories in the rocking chair and she is finally getting old enough to look at walls with the alphabet. I know that these things are all replacable it is just the little memories I will miss making here with her. The big thing I am going to miss the most is not being able to jump in the car and being at my sisters in ten mins. It has been so much fun watching the kids play together. All the phone calls from Tali telling me she wants to come to my house! I am almost positive that she will still call but it wont be as easy coming to my house. Tali aunty loves you and I will miss you coming to my house to play (even if you eat everything in my fridge or at least taste it). Thanks Stac for everything it wont be long and I will be done with school so get ready to sell and we can move to the same cute neighborhood.... I am excited for Kadee to get to know her grandma better hopefully she wont kick us out to soon.

Christmas Fun!

This year John and I both had to work on Christmas so Santa came early and Kadee really could have cared less. She was not in to the presents or wrapping paper at all. She just wanted to play with moms pots and pans in the kitchen. Kadee had fun playing with her grandma and cousins while mom and dad were at work. Kadee loves going over to my sisters and playing with Tali and Kenya. I hope that everyone had a great Holiday and is ready for the New Year.

As we all know Heavenly Father has a plan for each one of us and it may not be what we have in mind. He gives us struggles to make us stronger and to turn to him for peace. Yesterday morning a sweet little girl returned to our Heavenly Father after a very short time here on earth. She was lifted from the pain and suffering that she endured during her time with brain cancer. We never know when our time here may end, but we need to enjoy life to its fullest. Never miss a moment to kiss your children goodnight, and tell them you love them.
Carrie my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May you find peace at this difficult time knowing of the plan, and that you may see her again. We love you!

Happy Birthday Babe! Yesterday was John's birthday we had a great time just hanging out together (it doesn't happen that often anymore). Grandma Harris and John's brother and his family came up for dinner and then we went down to Temple Square and looked at the lights. It was perfect weather Kadee had so much fun she just loves to be outside. I am so lucky to have such a great husband and father to Kadee. They have so much fun together I love watching them play together. I hope you had a great birthday babe.

This is something that does not happen very often anymore Kadee thinks she is getting to big to take naps! She is funny she sleeps in some of the strangest ways who knows where her leg is. She does not look very comfy.

Kadee and Koda have so much fun together, it is fun just watching them play together. Now that she is crawling she chases him around the house he usually trys escaping through his door where he finally feels safe outside.

It is official our house is for sale! We are excited about a change and really ready to move on. Our house has only been on the market a few days and we have already had people looking at it. We will be moving to Payson, I know it seems far. We are both going to stay working up here and will just be driving. So if you know anyone who needs a house tell them to come buy OURS...

Over the weekend we went to my parents in Fillmore to visit. It is so much fun to see my family. We took Kadee's pumpkin that she grew in the garden to let her carve it. On Friday all the cousins went to uncle Shane and aunt Kristy's for a Halloween party Kadee hated her costume hopefully she likes it more on Halloween.

Life Lately

I am sure for those who read our blog this may come as a surprise and to some it will not. After many weeks of meeting with my counselor she put me up to a little challenge and that was coming face to face with my depression. She wanted me to write to someone what life was like before, and how life is now. I really struggle with doing this but after much thought blogging it was going to be my way of sharing. Many of you have wonder where my blogging has been and this may shed some light.

Ever since I had Kadee in January life has been different, being a mom has been so much fun and I have enjoyed having Kadee part of my life. Thoughts in my head have been crazy and it was what I thought came with being a mom. After months of keeping everything in side I lost it one night at work. It was like having a huge zit that just kept getting bigger and bigger and all the sudden it broke. I began the process of getting help, because the life I new was not how life was suppose to be. In my head my baby had died many times I had planned her funeral to a T. That was life. I had not even told my husband of what was going on for fear I would be put in some type of institution which was something I did not want. I was afraid of losing Kadee. After some time away from work and with the help of meds and a great counselor I am the mom I have always wanted to be, and life is the way I was hoping it to be.

I have the best husband and family anyone could ever have. I love them so much. I have returned to work and life is getting back to how it should be. I look forward to the weekend away and visiting my family in Fillmore. Thanks babe for everything I love you!

Happy Birthday Koda! Our big boy turned 3 today, he just need to start acting like a three year old now. Koda has been so much fun to have in our family we love him. He can be a pain in the butt, but for the most part he is pretty entertaining. I hope he has a great birthday and many more to come.

Last weekend we went to Bear Lake with John family. It was really nice to get away, and just relax. Kadee had a blast and loves being outside. She did pretty good in the lake as long as the water was not to cold. She is getting to be so much fun to hang out with I just really wish that I could be home more often with her. I am blessed to have such a great husband that takes good care of her. They are the best of friends.

I can't believe that it has been six months since Kadee was born. She has grown so much and learned so many new and fun things. Kadee can sit up with no help and let me tell you she is little miss independent. She loves her food which you can really tell by how many rolls she has each one is super cute. She has started reaching for you to pick her up, and her voice she knows how to use it. Kadee daddy and mommy love you we are really glad that you are healthy and growing big.

I cannot believe that Kadee is growing up so fast. The last week we have started her with baby food and she loves it, she just wishes I would give her the spoon and let her go to town. Her favorite fruit is a toss up between applesauce and bananas. Her vegetable choice is sweet potatoes, or peas. Not my favorite by any means they stink. The picture of Kadee & her dad is one of my favorite she is learning how to drink out of a cup. She thought it was so funny when the ice hit her lip she would freak out.

This last weekend we went camping with my family it was a lot of fun. Sometimes it was like a zoo we have so many little babies in our family right now that if one was crying they all were crying. We killed a rattle snake and then the kids skinned it and cooked it up and ate it, they said it was good. I was not going to try it though. Here are some fun pictures from our weekend.

Life has been very busy lately I have started school once again and this will be the final time thank goodness I am already counting down. I am very excited to finally be getting somewhere in life. Last weekend I traveled to FILLMORE yes it is still my favorite place in the world. We had a family reunion, it was really fun to see my family that I have not seen in such a long time. My family was all there minus Sadie and Taylor who are out of town. We really missed them and there cousins missed them more. Hailey loves Sadie and can't wait for them to come in July.
Kadee is growing up so fast it makes me sad. I bought her a swimming suit but unfortunately she hates the water. Today she turned five months old I cannot not believe it has been that long. As I left for school this morning John was at work so she had to go the sitter. I never thought it could be so hard leaving her and it was only with my sister, who I know would take great care of her. It is still hard. I hope that she wont remember that I am gone two days a week for school. Thank goodness there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I just wanted to tell John Happy Father's Day. He is such a great dad to Kadee & Koda! The past couple of months have been so fun seeing him interact with Kadee. I think that there favorite thing to do is play peek a boo she gets so excited when daddy throws the blanket over her face. I knew when I married him that he would be a good dad to our kids, but never image really how great of a dad he really is he is awesome. His big boy has really taken the back burner since Kadee was born, but let me just he always finds time to wrestle with Koda. Koda loves when dads comes home from work I wish I could get half the excitement from Koda when I come home. It must just be a boy thing. John has made going back to work so much easier for me, because I know that Kadee is being spoiled by her daddy! I cannot believe that it has been three years, time goes by fast when you are with your best friend. I just want my husband to know that I am the luckiest girl out there. He has made me the happiest girl alive. We have shared some of the greatest times and some of the saddest times together. I thought when I got married to him that I was in love, today I can defiantly say that my love is stronger now than it ever has been. Cold Weekend!

This past weekend we went camping with my husband family it was really fun despite how cold it was. When we pulled in to the camp site the truck said that it was 41 degrees, and let me tell you it did not get much warmer. It rained off and on all weekend. I must say that I have never seen Kadee so excited to use her hands. I took a little snow suit for her to sleep in and she pretty much wore it the entire time we were there. It had little mittens that kept her hands covered. Koda was even cold Friday morning he was shaking he was so cold.

Kadee turned four months old today, I must say she has had better days. She has had a fever, and a nasty nose the last couple of days. I am finding out that sometimes even though you work in the medical field you can't always make your kids feel great. You could really tell when the Tylenol had worn off, she would become a bear. So then today she had her well child check and she got five shots, wow she really does not like Dr. Terry. She has done pretty well this afternoon, so we took advantage of it and finally got a garden planted. Hopefully Kadee's pumpkin will get big.
Here are some fun things Kadee has learned to do so far in her life. She loves to scream she is not upset, it is just something she does, she has defiantly found her voice. She can almost roll over it is funny she gets up on her side and can't get any further, so then she just flops back onto her back. She is getting to be so much fun.

Another Busy Week!

It's amazing how life gets so busy. This past week we have been without carpet. I sure some of you who have built new homes can image what this is like but image living in your home while you are waiting for that new carpet to arrive. It was hard with Kadee the only room see could really be in was ours, and I was the lucky one I work the first three days of the week. John did a great job entertaining them two. We had no t.v. and all the furniture was in the garage and kitchen. I went to my moms to hang out while John was at work which was a nice little break. Thursday was the big day our carpet was being put in. Just in time for the weekend as Shane Kristi and Taylor were coming to stay. Taylor had another dance competition in Layton. It is now Saturday night and life is getting back to normal just to start all over again next week. At least we will have a house with carpet. Tonight as I was bathing Kadee you would think that she has had a long week to, because she fell asleep in the bath tube. I must say she had a busy week to.

Koda & Kadee had a little accident the other day. Daddy had just gotten home and Koda knows what that means it is time to "wrestle". Now that we have Kadee, Koda feels a little left out so him and dad have fun together although sometimes it can get a little out of control. Kadee was laying on the floor playing when Koda step on her face. She starting screaming and Koda took off he knew he was in trouble. She had no cuts just a black eye. So from now on the wrestling will have to be in a different room than her. Kadee will make a full recovery and Koda better watch out cause one of these days Kadee going to take him out!

This past weekend Taylor had a dance competition in Spanish Fork. She is becoming such a good dancer. It was really fun to watch her dance she defiantly puts her attitude in it. Her favorite dance was the group dance where her prop was a boggy board. Her sister Sadie is a great sport, but she does not enjoy anything in a gym unless there is a ball involved. I must say she did a great job cheering her sister on. Kadee and Dad went to grandma's for the morning half, but came for her last two dances. After words we all went out to dinner it is really fun getting together as a family.

I am not real sure if this is really blog worthy, but I have a question. Does anyone have any fun family traditions, or different things that you do for birthday's besides the normal gift? I was just sitting down yesterday and realized what a joke birthday's are. Once you get married and your siblings are married you are now doubling that birthday fun. It's not that I mind shopping for others, but of course they do not know what they want. I always seem to find myself standing in front of the gift card center at Harmon's, and now your three dollar milk trip now seventy nine dollars. WOW three people have birthdays this month. With that in mind I just thought we really spend lots on birthday, and we usually don't get to spend time with them. I thought maybe if we just get together and do one big birthday every year with like a BBQ or something fun would be much more enjoyable. So I am looking for ideas do any of you do anything fun? I am open for anything I am sure someones has some idea.

Little miss Kadee got tagged by her friends Logan, and Maddie. So, her mom will do her best to tell you five things you may not know about her.

1. Kadee would kill me if she could read this, but she has had this problem ever since she was a baby. She cannot POOP! She is a drama queen anyways , but when it comes to going to the bathroom look out. She grunts and groans forever at first the doctor suggested juice that worked for like a week. So if any of you mom's have suggestions let me know.

2. When Kadee wakes up from her naps she is so happy. She always cries to go to sleep, but from the second her eyes are open she has a big smile on her face.

3. I think that Kadee's favorite time of the day is bath time. If the water would just stay warm she would stay there all night. She is funny in the morning when I am getting her dressed and take her diaper off I think she thinks it is bath time, cause she gets all excited. As soon as the new diaper hits her bum she freaks out.

4. She absolutely hates going in the car. She does not mind the car seat, but as soon as the car starts she starts screaming and sill not stop until the car turns off. It makes going places a pain in the butt.

5. Kadee loves standing up, she gets all excited and acts like she is going to tell you something that is so important and if she is sitting down it will not come across the same way.

Kadee does not want to be "it" anymore so she is passing it on.

I never thought it would be so hard to return to work. My first shift back was Monday night. Even though Kadee was home with dad it still was hard living her and knowing that I was going to be gone for over twelve hours. I must say that dad did a great job, at least Kadee didn't have any complaints the next day. It really makes you appreciate having a great husband that makes for a great dad.

I never could have imaged how much joy would come with having a little girl. The thought of looking back to the way things were before we had Kadee seemed easy. I could make plans to clean the house or do laundry, it would be simple tasks, and now some of those simple tasks may take me a couple of days to complete. Let me tell you there is not one thing I would change I love being a mom. There are many things I have learned and many things still to learn. Kadee puts big smiles on her mom, and dads face with just the simple things she does. Kadee will be blessed on Sunday by her dad. Nothing makes me more happy than knowing that John is able to bless her. I am very lucky to have such a great husband, and dad for our daughter.

Kadee had her first vacation it was to Hawaii! She went with daddy, mommy, grandpa and grandma Crosland, uncle Shane and her three cousins, Sadie, Taylor, and Luke. She was only three weeks old, but was the best traveler. I think that many of our friends and family thought we were crazy for going, but who needed a vacation more than new parents. Kadee got her first sunburn while we were visiting the Dole Plantation and by the time we left to come home her little face was peeling. What bad parents!! We were there for seven days, mommy was ready to come home. Dad, mom, Shane and Sadie went deep sea fishing on uncle Rex's boat. It was something that we had never done before and most likely will not do again for a while. Uncle Rex is now in his eighties and will most likely be getting rid of his fishing boat. While we were out we saw lots of dolphins and whales, we even caught a fish that weighed close to 100lbs and sold at the market for $2.50 a pound. Kadee stayed back with grandma. We were not able to go see the volcano, it was very active and was not safe. Daddy and Shane went para sailing. They had a blast.

Kadee has lots of cousins who love her, they love coming to see her. Her cousin Hailey isn't sure if she is Kadee or Kenya. My sister had a baby three days after Kadee was born and they named her Kenya. I guess when you are two a baby is a baby although she is getting much better at telling them apart. Kadee has eight cousins on my side and two with one on the way in John family. Taylor wishes she could come move in and take care of Kadee all the time, it would be a great thought but she still wants to be the baby. If Sadie wanted to I would consider it she would be a great help. Kaden and McKayla are on the other side. Kaden really loves to hold her and sit in her car seat. McKayla on the other hand is not quite sure about her, she would rather just play with her things in her room.

Kadee loves her dad! There where many times being pregnant that I thought that John really wanted a little boy, but the more I see him with Kadee I know that a little girl is just what he needed. He is a great dad! One of there favorite things to do is take naps together! John loves nothing more than coming home from a night at the station and letting me know that him and Kadee are going to take a nap together. I must say Kadee sleeps great with dad. She really has him wrapped around her finger. I am not looking forward to going back to work in April, but I know the two of them are going to have lots of fun spending time together while mom is at work.

Kadee Lynn Harris was born on January 27th at 10:31 am. She weighed 6lbs 5 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. She has lots of brown hair. We are so excited she is finally here. She was born at the New IHC hospital in Salt Lake and lets just say that was quite the experience!! She has very proud grandparents. Aunts and Uncles who are already spoiling her, and cousins waiting for her to get big so they can play dolls, and dance. Her proud parents and very blessed to have such a sweet little girl to love.

Christmas is right around the corner, and that means it is picture time. With our big boy we usually have them done outside because he is big and likes to take control. Koda is two 1/2 and still acting very much like a puppy we are hoping with the baby coming he will quickly calm down. My sister came to Murray park to take our picture, sometimes to photo guys don't do such a great job. There was lots of snow and it was very cold. Koda was more worried about the birds then sitting and smiling for the camera.
